Pastor Tullian recently spoke on the gospel, grace, and suffering on camera at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. In this video, Pastor Tullian responds to the question, “How can church leaders cultivate a safe place to talk about suffering?”

(James 5:13a); and the greatest prayer would be for the power for true joy in the suffering ,that we could exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us Rom 5:3-5
even the Author of our salvation was made perfect through sufferings; although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered Heb 2:10;5:8
