LIBERATE 2013 Pre-Conference: Grace in Church Planting

LIBERATE 2013 kicks off on Thursday afternoon, February 21, with a special pre-conference on grace in church planting.

Public Gathering: Thursday 2:00-4:00pm (Sanctuary) 

Tony Merida, Founding Pastor of IMAGO DEI in Raleigh, North Carolina, leads this special pre-conference conversation on grace as its impact on every aspect of church planting, from preaching the Gospel to leadership and community presence. Rev. Rick Hunter, Director of RENEW South Florida and Rev. Martin Ban, Founding Pastor of Christ Church of Santa Fe, New Mexico, will join Merida in this important missional conversation.

Private Conversation: 4:00-6:00pm (De Vos Chapel)

Rick Hunter will curate a special closed-door “church planters only” panel discussion in the De Vos Chapel with Merida, Ban, Rev. Curt Benham, Rev. Brad Schmidt, Knox professor Dr. Jim Belcher, and Rev. R-J Heijmen. In an intimate and safe environment, the conversation will focus on the most difficult challenges facing church planters.
